Your son (the one who talks) told me that you always throw your catches back. That does not seem to be a food solution. You could raise chickens instead. Lot less driving and equipment investment. Kristy could harvest them. You would need a hatchet or hedge clippers. Mom suggests raising trout in a basement aquarium. Or, sheep could keep the grass mowed and provide renewable raw textiles, milk and ultimately, meat.
